Lake Mburo National Park

Uganda's only park with impalas and zebras roaming acacia-dotted savanna

About Lake Mburo

At 370 square kilometers, Lake Mburo is Uganda's smallest savanna park and the closest national park to Kampala. Its compact size makes it perfect for short safaris while offering surprisingly diverse wildlife including zebras, impalas, elands, and over 350 bird species.

The park's five lakes create beautiful scenery and support rich ecosystems. Unique activities include horseback safaris, mountain biking, and walking safaris - experiences rarely offered in other Ugandan parks.
